Cycle is a trip, a story in images. Ruth Gwily makes an introspective exploration, building her story in small pieces. Her subjects include: childhood, discovery of the body, love, relationships, solitude. This book invites the reader to share the author s experiences through a visual language filled with metaphors. This autobiographic document is the combination of illustration and theatrical approaches, reminiscent of Comedia del Arte, puppets and dance.
